How can you uninstall a “ghost” program on your computer?

A program that I uninstalled over 5 months ago keeps on popping up once in a while. It’s called the Paretologic system. It interfered with my computer’s antivirus program so I uninstalled the program. I looked through all of my default programs, currently installed programs. I typed in the name of the program on the search program on my computer and found no system existing. What can I do to find this ghost on my computer and uninstall it for good? Is it on my hard drive somewhere? Thanks.
